Creating an FTP account Print

If you’re using Linux server or CPanel, follow below steps:

1. Log in to your CPanel/control panel
2. Find FTP Accounts under Files section; click on it.
3. Type the desired FTP user ID and password twice.
4. Select or type the target directory (public_html for website files)
5. Select space quota
6. Hit Create FTP Account and you are done.

If you’re using Windows server or WSP (Website Panel), follow below steps:

1. Log in to your Website Panel/control panel
2. Click on FTP Accounts under your space.
3. Click on Create FTP Account.
4. Type the desired FTP user ID and password twice.
5. Select or type the target directory under Home folder (wwwroot for website files)
6. Select Read or Write or both for permissions.
7. Hit Save and you are done.
