Http streaming, when compared to the RealServer software offered by http://www.real.com doesn’t offer the features related to ‘bandwidth negotiation’. This basically means that RealServer will assess the connection of the end user and serve a different file based on that. Http streaming is not that sophisticated, so end users with lower quality connections will get the same content as everyone else. The RealServer software also allows live broadcasting, which we do not support.
